virus on laptop, wont let me acces the internet, or update anything help help?

my laptops got a virus and wont let me access the net, or update anything, as soon as i try and access the net i get this message- vista antispyware 2011 firewall alert firefox is infected with Trojan-BNKWin32.keylogger.gen, the dvd drive is broken so i cant install new antivirus through disk, i bought this laptop from a friend who cant get rid of the virus, iv also got pictures in there aswell i dont want to restore and loss them any ideas

Ok I am sure your laptop has a usb drive. Get a usb from walmart go to your friends house who has a computer and plug the usb in. Go to file view. Then download malware bits antimalware and avg inter security (both the installers dnt install them in friends computer). once the installers are on the usb take the usb out after exiting the file view (folder). Plug it into your computer run the installers(one at a time) after you install both of them run a scan. The scan should get rid of the virus. Also before doing any of this try and run in safe mode and google the virus name there is manual removels if you don’t want to spend money on a usb. Hope I helped.
