How can I really get rid of this trojan ..? Plz help me!?

Ok, so I am currently using sister's computer and it took a Trojan virus and I removed the computer using AVG 7.5. But every time the computer turns on, its said that the virus is still in the computer and must be revised or deleted! I'm tired of doing this for the past few days, and today, the risk changed to severe and I quarantined … Please, it's so confusing. Honestly, I do not know what else to do! My sister will kill me if I make a computer crash, since I crashed last year my office! Can someone please me what else to say !!!!!
