Spyware Malware Adware Removal
Why does my laptop have no sound devices to tell if they work properly, and it is not on mute?
I Windows XP. Dell Inspiron 6000. I know I have registry problems, and also the error code 19 with the DVD + RW and DVD + RW is corrupt or missing. I am infected with Trojan.Zlob and who knows what else! None of the spyware, malware, trojan, adware, work, etc. moves. Can you tell me STEP BY STEP how to uninstall and reinstall my operating system? I'm afraid I'll lose all my important programs. I also have Microsoft Office 2003 I bought and I can not find the security key. I can not restore my computer and I can not restart in Safe Mode. I fear I will not be able to access internet if I uninstall and reinstall the OS. Uninstalling and reinstalling my Wi-Fi seems the only option because nothing works and I can not afford to go to a technician. Also, my computer is almost three years. old.
Relocation the OS is simple if you have your OEM CD in hand (you should). You will need to save all your documents / photos / emails etc on a USB CD / USB or other storage media. If you only have one partition on your hard all your software is going well, so make sure you have all the installers licenses convenient for them. Also write down all the wireless settings and password as well. A guide to safeguard your desktop 2003 activation can be found here: http://www.flexbeta.net/forums/lofiversion/index.php/t3669.html Other than all you do is put the XP cd, reboot, then go through the setup (delete, recreate your partition as XP). Takes approximately half an hour (slightly longer if you have lots of software) As for your audio files, the only thing I can think of is that the Windows Audio service is not working. For check go to Start>> Run>> services.msc and scroll down to Windows Audio Services
