Computer music problem?

I recently imported a large number of songs to my iTunes, and now i am having problems playing media of any kind. My iTunes has 13,723 songs with about 56GB in space used. Basically, what will happen is the song will play and then literally slow down at random points (almost as if my computer is barely able to play it). I have recently defragmented my hard drive, and move 15GB of music to an external hard drive, but it hasn’t cured the problem. What could be going on?

Dont overburden your system. All the players cannot play all the music files, because of codecs problem. Better keep your all the music files in a particular drive of your pc.Clear all the library data of all of your players.Select a particular player, which has all the codec formats avallable.Use the player by adding music/songs in play list.After you finish listening, you can clear that play list also, for next time use.
Also check, you codecs of most of the formats. If not , download k-lite codec pack (freeware) from net.
