Anyone else getting banner ads hijacked with search engine adware?

Almost every web page or site I’m on, it seems the banner ads are getting hijacked by search engine adware like “wbr4.com”, “searchathand.com”, or “foxic”.
I’ve run my Webroot Spy Sweeper but it’s not detecting this problem (I contacted them about this, no reply yet).
Any suggestions how to eradicte this?
