Registry Checker Microsoft

Why can’t Microsoft release a Registry Checker tool?

Obviously Microsoft must be well aware of the weaknesses of the registry and the fact that hundreds of invalid entries acumulate over time slowing and hampering the operation of Windows. So why then do they not release a tool to allow manual/automatic checking and fix errors in the registry?
Its very annoying having to hunt around for shareware and third party software for a function that anyone can see should be provided with modern NT(what an original name)

Do the next best thing and us this free registry cleaner.
