Pxe-e61 Error Message Toshiba Satellite

laptop problem!?!?!?

around about a month ago,i bought a Toshiba Satellite A40 laptop (which was second hand from the free-ads), and ever since i have had it i’ve been playing it for most of the day since having it…

but then i woke up yesterday, and the screen went black, and then a white error message came up and said:

Intel (R) Boot Agent FEB 4.1.10
copyright (c) 1997-2003 Intel core
PXE-E61: Media test failure check cable
PXE-MOF: Exiting Intel Boot Agent
Insert system Disk in drive Press any key when ready.

the power cable, which is says to check, works absolutely fine and where it says “insert system disk in drive” which i don’t have and i have never needed since buying the laptop.

i haven’t damaged it in any way…

so please, if somebody could give me any tips or suggestions then please feel free to help me.

Your hard drive might have died…might also be a corrupt BIOS. If you google:
