GFI Labs believes that the attacks are still rampant Trojan

GFI, a leading provider of IT solutions for small and medium enterprises, has announced Today the top 10 most prevalent malware threats for the month of August 2010. The report, compiled from monthly analysis conducted by GFI winning anti-malware solution, VIPRE ® Antivirus and its antispyware tool, CounterSpy ® is a service of GFI Labs and trade.

GFI statistics VIPRE ThreatNet ™ for the month of August show that customers of GFI were the target of attacks throughout the month mainly by the same Trojan horse programs persisted for several months. In fact, the four main threats were unchanged in the order of July. Trojan detected as Trojan.Win32.Generic! BT were still the chief detective, down slightly to 25.11 percent of total detections. This detection was particularly Trojan in the first place for some time: in July with 29.08 per cent and in June with 27.16 percent of total detections.

Number two detection, is a Trojan detection Spy.Win32.Zbot.gen stealing Trojans password with many versions. The detection third! Trojan.Win32.Generic.pak Cobra is a generic detection for a variety of malware that can infect the 32 – and 64-bit Windows installations.

"The detection of this malicious code indicates that botnet operators continue to try to infect machines and use them in their networks spamming, "said Francis Montesinos, manager of the treatment team of malware, GFI Labs.
