Most computers can be cleaned. I suggest that you download the following and then start running scans from safe mode.
How to start in safe mode:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial61.html
Since your computer probably has a ton of infections you don’t know about, here is my standard cleaning procedure:
NOTE: on badly infected computers, you may have to install and run the scans from safe mode. Some programs will be actively disabled or damaged by the infections. When this happens, just pick another cleaning program until you find one which isn’t knocked out. Then reboot and try some of the others. Lather, rinse and repeat until you have a clean system.

Download, install and run the following:
(drive cleaner)
http://majorgeeks.com/CCleaner_Slim_No_Toolbar_d4191.html
ccleaner slim (removes junk and temp files so that the scans have fewer files to look through)
(anti-virus) Pick one, some infections disable cleaning programs, so try another until you can start removing the infections.
Dr Web Cure it
AVG
AntiVIr
Avast
If your wallpaper has been changed (and you can’t change it back).

(anti-spyware) (This first group will detect and remove the worst infections. The 2nd group will clean up the stragglers).
Superantispyware
Malwarebytes Rouge Remover
Malwarebytes anti-malware
Threatfire
spyware doctor starter edition
ad-aware 2008
spybot search and destroy
Counterspy
AVG anti-spyware
Download and run combofix

Once you get the infections cleaned off, you have to repair the damage.
Download, install and run
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4899.html
Dial-a-fix
Go through everything. This will fix a bunch of things that infections love to break. If you still have problems, (parts of windows is broken) you need to do an Windows repair install.
Good luck

Crazy Boot (Computer Virus) $68.51 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Crazy Boot is a computer virus that infects the Microsoft Windows operating systems causing no physical damage nor direct loss of information; it would be known as a hoax to some. If the host computer is booted from an infected floppy disk, this virus makes it look as though all physical hard drives have been lost. Crazy Boot spreads through unprotected disks easily. It spreads only on diskettes, not by file distribution. The virus resides in memory, it infects the master boot records of all physical hard disks and infects the boot sectors of floppy disks. If Crazy Boot is in memory, any access to the boot record is rerouted to a copy of the original boot sector. When the virus infects a hard drive, it makes a copy of the partition table (an important part of the system area), writes the copy, and deletes the original partition table. To read the partition information, Crazy Boot must be active in memory. If users boot from a floppy disk not infected by this virus in order to avoid it, all physical hard drives are inaccessible by normal means. Michelangelo (Computer Virus) $98.77 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The Michelangelo virus is a computer virus first discovered in April 1991 in New Zealand. The virus was designed to infect DOS systems (but did not engage the operating system or make any OS calls; Michelangelo, like all boot sector viruses, basically operated at the BIOS level) and remained dormant until March 6, the birthday of Renaissance artist Michelangelo. There is no reference to the artist in the virus, and it is doubtful that the virus writer intended Michelangelo to be referenced to the virus. Michelangelo is a variant of the already endemic Stoned virus. On March 6, if the PC is an AT or a PS/2, the virus overwrites the first one hundred sectors of the hard disk with nulls. The virus assumes a geometry of 256 cylinders, 4 heads, 17 sectors per track. Although all the users data would still be on the hard disk, it would be irretrievable for the average user. Hare (Computer Virus) $68.51 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The Hare Virus is a destructive computer virus which infected MSDOS and Windows 95 machines in August 1996. It was also known as Hare.7610, Krsna and HD Euthanasia. The virus was capable of infecting .COM and .EXE executable files, as well as the Master boot record of hard disks and the boot sector on floppy disks. A computer virus is a computer program that can copy itself and infect a computer. The term virus is also commonly but erroneously used to refer to other types of malware, including but not limited to adware and spyware programs that do not have the reproductive ability. A true virus can spread from one computer to another (in some form of executable code) when its host is taken to the target computer; for instance because a user sent it over a network or the Internet, or carried it on a removable medium such as a floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB drive. Onehalf (Computer Virus) $68.51 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles OneHalf is a DOSbased polymorphic computer virus (hybrid boot and file infector). It is known for its peculiar payload: it encrypts certain parts of users Hard disk, but then decrypts them onthefly when they are accessed, thus user does not notice anything. The encryption is done by bitwise XORing by a randomly generated key, which can be decrypted simply by XORing with the same bit stream again. However, careless disinfection will result in data loss; if the user does not decrypt the data, then destroys the virus which decrypts and accesses it, the data will be lost.
