Ad-aware Personal SE a freeware?

Well I installed it finding out that it doesn’t do real-time protection like I thought it did. Then I figured that was because I was downloading it from download.com so I went to Lavasoft’s website to download it from there then it led it back to download.com. I got spybot search and destroy now but am finding Ad-aware Personal SE to be better. While spybot found maybe 20 items, Adware Personal SE found at least 100 or more! Does anyone know where I can get Ad-aware PErsonal SE as freeware or something close to that? I’m hoping to find the best anti-spyware around that can find hundreds of items and do real-time protection.
Some answers I’m getting said that it is a freeware (Ad-ware Personal SE) but it doesn’t provide real-time protection as download.com stated. Are you saying that it is free but doesn’t have real-time protection? I’m looking for something that also provide real-time protection as well as something that would find many items if not all spywares.
