What is the best Anti Virus Software?

Hi,

The best is defiantly Norton if you are willing to pay, I have used it for years with no problems… the only thing I don’t like is that it is slow and uses up a lot of CPU; but is defiantly the most thorough and safe!

If you don’t want to pay then you can use Microsoft security essentials or avast. They are both good (but nowhere near as good as Norton)

I have found that if you have a free one then each one specialises in certain area’s or certain viruses, Norton is great at everything. if you have free ones you may have to run 2 or 3 scans with different pieces of software in order to find something. Norton would usually find it 1st time!

If you think about it norton ends up being quicker!
