My Windows Xp Slow Down – Three Tips For Speeding Up My Computer

Unfortunately, my Windows XP slow down over time. This problem extremely disturbs my work and I can not surf on the internet because my computer is very slow now. In order to speed up my computer, I have tried to use a great many ways for fixing my operating system. Fortunately, I realize that there are three tips, which can effectively make my computer run as fast as the new PC.

Tip 1. My Windows XP slow down, the fragment of hard disk might be the cause. All files and programs are stored on the hard disk in my computer. They will create the fragmented files which are separated all over the hard disk. It is difficult for the Windows XP to read them and it will take a lot of time to run. To get my operating system run fast, I use the disk defragmenter tool in my Windows by the following steps: Click Start> Accessories> System Tool> Disk Defragmenter

Tip 2. There are many applications on my startup programs list. While I start up my pc, I have to wait for a long time to load the programs. Once my Windows XP is too slow, I will uninstall the unwanted programs from the startup to speed up my computer.

Tip 3. There are a large number of invalid and corrupted registry entries on my Windows XP system. While I install or uninstall the programs, there will be some data leftover behind my Windows. Obviously, if I reinstall a program, there are some settings which have already been existed. The settings have never been deleted. Therefore, my operating system has to spend much time to read the unnecessary data so that it can not respond my order while I open the application on my computer. This is why the registry can make my Windows XP slow down. Luckily, I can use the registry cleaner to help me detect and erase these registry errors with ease. I just click some of the icons of the registry cleaner and my computer can speed up immediately.
