I have Final Cut Express on my Macbook Pro and I’m trying to import video and i need help.?

I keep trying to import a quicktime clip but every time i click on that particular clip, a message comes up saying “File Error: 1 File(s) recognized, 0 access denied, 1 unknown”. I tried restarting and moving the clip to a different folder but nothing seems to work. Please help?

i have been using mac like 6-10 years.
