September 24, 2010 4:08 am | Error Message

I keep getting an error message on my computer saying “windows script host is disabled on this machine”?

Can you please tell me how to get rid of this message? I mainly get the message when my machine is in idle and no activity is taking place. Every morning its there. I have ran anti virus, anti spyware, anti adware, anti malware and nothing corrects the problem.

It will tell you here how to disable it.

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The Microsoft Windows Script Host (originally called Windows Scripting Host, but renamed for the second release) is an automation technology for Microsoft Windows operating systems that provides scripting capabilities comparable to batch files, but with a greater range of supported features. It is languageindependent in the sense that it can make use of different Active Scripting language engines. By default it interprets and runs plaintext JScript (.JS and .JSE files) and VBScript (.VBS and .VBE files). Users can install different scripting engines to enable them to script in other languages, for instance PerlScript. The language independent filename extension WSF can also be used. The advantage of the Windows Script File (.WSF) is that it allows the user to use a combination of scripting languages within a single file. Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. An error message is information displayed when an unexpected condition occurs, usually on a computer or other device. On modern operating systems with graphical user interfaces, error messages are often displayed using dialog boxes. Error messages are used when user intervention is required, to indicate that a desired operation has failed, or to relay important warnings (such as warning a computer user that they are almost out of hard disk space). Error messages are seen widely throughout computing, and are part of every operating system or computer hardware device. Proper design of error messages is an important topic in usability and other fields of humancomputer interaction.
