windows cannot find macromedia flash. How do I get windows to stop sending the error message telling me this?

Windows informed me in an error message that it cannot find macromedia flash. It sends me an error message every few minutes that my computer is idle. When I tried to restore my computer to a previous date it tells me to choose another date where the it answers the same way. I have gone to macromedia flash pages on the internet to download macromedia flash but the same error message keeps coming up. The error message doesn’t tell me how windows wants me to correct the situation. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Two Errors?
Uninstall Flash.
Reboot. Run Regclean, or anything that will remove registry oprhans.
Reboot.
Reinstall Flash.
The Idle message is usually about a power setting in control panel. Or it may be a utility setting that some tool bars have.
Check your Power settings, since these can do a lot of annoying thins.
