How to do Exchange Server Recovery after the 1019 Error Message
Exchange Server provides an inbuilt utility (Eseutil) to fix the database corruption problems. But sometimes when you perform hard recovery, it may not complete and you need to carry out EDB recovery to sort out the problem.
While performing hard database recovery, you may encounter -1019 error messages. The error message shows that EDB file is severely corrupted and it can not be repaired. After these errors, the recovery process gets halted and last transaction log file which is replayed, gets modified and damaged.
In this case, when you see the Application Event Log of Exchange Server, you may find the underwritten events:
Event ID: 0
Source: ESE97
Type: Error
Category: Performance
Description: (252) Unexpected Win32 error: 0x3E6
Event ID: 122
Source: ESE97
Type: Error
Category: Logging/Recovery
Description: (252) Unable to read the log. Error -1022.
Event Id: 0
Source: ESE97
Type: Error
Category: Logging/Recovery
Description: (252) -1019
After these error messages, your important data in the Exchange Server becomes inaccessible and you have to figure out the cause of this issue and use EDB repair solutions to reclaim the lost data.
Grounds of this issue
You may encounter these error messages due to EDB file corruption. Such corruption could be the possible result of improper server shutdown, file header corruption, application malfunction, virus infection and other similar reasons.
In all these situations, your data becomes inaccessible and unusable, thus you need to sort out this problem to reclaim your inaccessible data.
How to fix this problem
You can overcome the corruption scenarios by repairing the corrupted EDB file using EDB recovery software. These are third party applications that are uniquely designed to thoroughly scan the corrupted EDB file and extract inaccessible and lost data from it.
These software come equipped with interactive user interface and does not demand sound technical knowledge to achieve efficient repair and restoration of data. They are able to recover all EDB objects including e-mails, notes, contacts, journals, calendar entries and tasks.
With read-only design, these software carry out safe and original EDB repair in almost all the EDB corruption scenarios. To ensure safe, quick and effective recovery, you should opt for result-oriented and time-tested exchange recovery software.
Stellar Phoenix mailbox exchange recovery is the most reliable EDB recovery application for all software caused Exchange Server corruption. The software supports Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, 2000 and 5.5. It is compatible with Microsoft Windows XP, 2003 and 2000.

Measurement Error Models $116.61 The Wiley-Interscience Paperback Series consists of selected books that have been made more accessible to consumers in an effort to increase global appeal and general circulation. With these new unabridged softcover volumes, Wiley hopes to extend the lives of these works by making them available to future generations of statisticians, mathematicians, and scientists. "The effort of Professor Fuller is commendable . . . the book] provides a complete treatment of an important and frequently ignored topic. Those who work with measurement error models will find it valuable. It is the fundamental book on the subject, and statisticians will benefit from adding this book to their collection or to university or departmental libraries." -Biometrics "Given the large and diverse literature on measurement error/errors-in-variables problems, Fuller’s book is most welcome. Anyone with an interest in the subject should certainly have this book." -Journal of the American Statistical Association "The author is to be commended for providing a complete presentation of a very important topic. Statisticians working with measurement error problems will benefit from adding this book to their collection." -Technometrics " . . . this book is a remarkable achievement and the product of impressive top-grade scholarly work." -Journal of Applied Econometrics Measurement Error Models offers coverage of estimation for situations where the model variables are observed subject to measurement error. Regression models are included with errors in the variables, latent variable models, and factor models. Results from several areas of application are discussed, including recent results for nonlinear models and for models with unequal variances. The estimation of true values for the fixed model, prediction of true values under the random model, model checks, and the analysis of residuals are addressed, and in addition, procedures are illustrated with data drawn from nearly twenty real data sets. |

Error Propagation in Environmental Modelling with GIS $124.13 GIS users and professionals are aware that the accuracy of GIS results cannot be naively based on the quality of the graphical output. Data stored in a GIS will have been collected or measured, classified, generalised, interpreted or estimated, and in all cases this allows the introduction of errors.; With the processing of translation of this data into the GIS itself further propagation or amplification or errors also occur. It is essential that GIS professionals understand these issues systematically if they are to build ever more accurate systems.; In this book the authors decade of study into these problems is brought into focus with an account of the development, application and implementation of error propagation techniques for use in environmental modelling with GIS. Its purpose is to provide a methodology for handling error and error propagation. |

Measurement Error and Latent Variables in Econometrics $135.62 The book first discusses in depth various aspects of the well-known inconsistency that arises when explanatory variables in a linear regression model are measured with error. Despite this inconsistency, the region where the true regression coeffecients lies can sometimes be characterized in a useful way, especially when bounds are known on the measurement error variance but also when such information is absent. Wage discrimination with imperfect productivity measurement is discussed as an important special case. Next, it is shown that the inconsistency is not accidental but fundamental. Due to an identification problem, no consistent estimators may exist at all. Additional information is desirable. This information can be of various types. One type is exact prior knowledge about functions of the parameters. This leads to the CALS estimator. Another major type is in the form of instrumental variables. Many aspects of this are discussed, including heteroskedasticity, combination of data from different sources, construction of instruments from the available data, and the LIML estimator, which is especially relevant when the instruments are weak. The scope is then widened to an embedding of the regression equation with measurement error in a multiple equations setting, leading to the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) model. This marks the step from measurement error to latent variables. Estimation of the EFA model leads to an eigenvalue problem. A variety of models is reviewed that involve eignevalue problems as their common characteristic. EFA is extended to confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) by including restrictions on the parameters of the factor analysis model, and next by relating the factors to background variables. These models are all structural equation models (SEMs), a very general and important class of models, with the LISREL model as its best-known representation, encompassing almost all linear equation systems with latent variables. Estimation of SEMs can be viewed as an application of the generalized method of moments (GMM). GMM in general and for SEM in particular is discussed at great length, including the generality of GMM, optimal weighting, conditional moments, continuous updating, simulation estimation, the link with the method of maximum likelihood, and in particular testing and model evaluation for GMM. The discussion concludes with nonlinear models. The emphasis is on polynomial models and models that are nonlinear due to a filter on the dependent variables, like discrete choice models or models with ordered categorical variables. |
