Help with virus protection software…?

I had a free trial with Norton Internet Security and it is nearly run out but i don’t want to renew it as i can’t pay for it so i downloaded Avast Anti-Virus, but i was just wondering if the viruses on Norton will be kept in the quarantine or will they go on to my computer and muck it up?

the virii that norton has quarantined will be deleted when you uninstall Norton Internet Security

avast is an excellent choice as a replacement.

i would recommend 2 products to be run in conjunction with avast though. you’ll be surprised how much malwarebytes picks up …
