About having a separate Antivirus and Antispyware program?

I have an Avg Free version for my laptop’s protection and I have read some articles that say that Spyware doctor is a great program for removing Spyware, Adware and malware. So I downloaded Spyware Doctor in Cnet Download.com. But when I used my laptop the next day, I have noticed that my laptop has functioning quite slower than usual ad in it would take 10-15 minutes to start up my laptop. I suspect it is due that my AVG free Antivirus and Spyware Doctor is battling for resources. So I uninstall my Spyware Doctor and my laptop’s performance was back to normal.

Both are good programs. You can check at http://reviews.cnet.com/software/ and search for any software you like. You will see Editor and Consumer reviews – and read them yourself to determine if they fit your needs.

However, there is no one BEST program for everyone! Each person’s individual computer usage is completely different. Some folks download illegal programs and music, which exposes them to more infections than any other behavior. Some folks only read their email and do some light surfing.

Because usage is different, the appropriate software is different for everyone.

Any *one* of these would probably work well for you! Read the reviews to be sure.

ANTI-SPYWARE:
Since NONE of the anti-spyware/anti-adware programs are 100 percent accurate in finding and removing spyware, you need *at least* two programs which you will run one after the other, not at the same time.
