Anyone having a problem with Norton’s Anti-virus blocking yahoo mail?

I have several computers at home with my family and on two of them when ever I log in online to yahoo mail and click check mail or the inbox I get a blue loading bar at the top of the screen but the screen goes nowhere. When I turn nortons off I can get into my mail. It is for everyone who tries to access yahoo mail on these computers.

This is Mike from the Norton Authorized Support Team.

The first thing you should do is to manually run LiveUpdate from with Norton AntiVirus to make sure that you have the latest program patches and definition files applied. If any updates are installed, restart your computer and then manually check for updates again. Restart again if any more updates are installed.

Next, perform a “Full System Scan” to check for infections which my causing the problem.

I assume you are using a web browser to access Yahoo Mail, and if so, you should clear out all temporary internet files, offline website data and cookies, and then try to access the site again.

If you still can not access the page, download an alternative web browser and try accessing the site with that browser.
