SHELL32.DLL error?
The relocation occured because C:\windows\system SHELL32.DLL occupied an address range reserved for windows system DLLs The vendor supplying should be contacted for a new DLL.
On a couple of my applications (AVG anti virus free, Spampal and a kiddie web browser) the following message appeared. which has stopped my apps from functioning properly. I have had a look on answers and downloaded the Microsoft patch as I heard other people had a simular problem. However this has not helped and I have ran some Reg cleaners through which hasn’t helped either.
I can see other people didn’t have problems with SHELL32.DLL which is the problems that I am having. I noticed this started on Thursday 5 April, I did a system restore and all was fine, then I switched my PC back on and the problem came back, I did another restore and all was fine was a couple of times and then the message came up again. Both times I did update my PC with Microsoft updates but the patch didnt work.
Thanks 4 help
These error messages can occur if you are running a version of Plug-In for Windows (Plugin.exe) earlier than version 2.5. Versions of Plug-In for Windows earlier than version 2.5 are not compatible with Windows.
To resolve this behavior, contact the software’s manufacturer to see if they can supply you with an updated version of the program that is compatible with Windows.
To work around this behavior, disable Plug-In for Windows. To do so, remove Plugin.exe from the Startup folder or from the “load=” line in the Win.ini file in the Windows folder, and then restart your computer.

What the Virus $111.53 Antivirus software is a key security technology on todays end user systems. Current antivirus engines use two complementary techniques to detect malware. One is to statically scan potential malware sample files for certain patterns which are known ( malware signatures ). The other is to dynamically detect typical malicious behavior (e.g., modifications of registry keys, DLL injections etc.) upon execution of a sample. No antivirus product can reliably detect malware. Rather, all products are plagued by false positives and false negatives. An interesting approach to improve the reliability of detection is to run several antivirus products on a given malware sample. There are several online scanning services, that implement this approach. However, for performance reasons these services only use the static signature detection functionality of the anti virus products, and thus do not take advantage of the full functionality of current antivirus engines. This book explains how to overcome this limitation and to build an efficient online malware scanning service that fully utilizes the capabilities of current antivirus engines. The Panic Virus (Paperback) $22.6 WHO DECIDES WHICH FACTS ARE TRUE? In 1998 Andrew Wakefield, a British gastroenterologist with a history of self-promotion, published a paper with a shocking allegation: the measles-mumps-rubella vaccine might cause autism. The media seized hold of the story and, in the process, helped to launch one of the most devastating health scares ever. In the years to come Wakefield would be revealed as a profiteer in league with class-action lawyers, and he would eventually lose his medical license. Meanwhile one study after another failed to find any link between childhood vaccines and autism. Yet the myth that vaccines somehow cause developmental disorders lives on. Despite the lack of corroborating evidence, it has been popularized by media personalities such as Oprah Winfrey and Jenny McCarthy and legitimized by journalists who claim that they are just being fair to “both sides” of an issue about which there is little debate. Meanwhile millions of dollars have been diverted from potential breakthroughs in autism research, families have spent their savings on ineffective “miracle cures,” and declining vaccination rates have led to outbreaks of deadly illnesses like Hib, measles, and whooping cough. Most tragic of all is the increasing number of children dying from vaccine-preventable diseases. In The Panic Virus Seth Mnookin draws on interviews with parents, public-health advocates, scientists, and anti-vaccine activists to tackle a fundamental question: How do we decide what the truth is? The fascinating answer helps explain everything from the persistence of conspiracy theories about 9/11 to the appeal of talk-show hosts who demand that President Obama “prove” he was born in America. The Panic Virus is a riveting and sometimes heart-breaking medical detective story that explores the limits of rational thought. It is the ultimate cautionary tale for our time. |
