Anti Virus Scanner Free Download
Computer Virus, I think…?
I was on explosm.net, (a comic site) and something minimized my window and had a pop-up come in the bottom right corner of my scree, saying something like: You computer has been running slower than usual, would you like us to do a free virus scan?
I clicked cancel and went back to the website I was currently on, but the it took me to another screen that was scanning for viruses. I canceled out of it, but then it did the thing again where it put the pop-up in the bottom right corner…I hit cancel and nothing happened after that.
So is this “virus scan” actually a virus, I doubt it was legit. Should I have my computer scanned? If so, what is a great, free anti-spyware or virus scanner I can download? Thanks
