Is there a free anti-spy program that includes free removal?

I’ve found several programs that have allowed me to run free scans. Is there any programs that have free virus removals? I used to have an anti-spy program installed but it somehow got uninstalled. The free scans I’ve run said I have over 700 infections…..what should I do?
