I just Downloaded malwarebytes anti-malware and my Anti-Virus Professional v5.0 is showing up in the logs?

so like the title says… for some reason the malwarebytes anti-malware is putting my Anti-Virus in it’s list of stuff that needs to be removed.. i did the quick scan option, and it says it’s a rogue program or something. I had only gotten it so i could get rid of that stupid “security essentials 2010″ Trojan thing that is going around, but i got confused when it put my Anti-Virus in the list of.. stuff. Honestly, i don’t know much about what’s the best anti-virus, malware, spyware… etc, programs. Is malwarebytes anti-malware safe to use, and Anti-Virus Profession v5.0? should i be using something else.. sorry, so many questions. i’ve just never been good at computer protection, and i need some help! I know i kinda strayed away from my first question, but it all kinda flows together…

Malwarebytes is completely safe. I would let it remove your questionable antivirus Pro 5.0, and then download a reliable and effective antivirus such as Avast or Avira. Both free
