how do i get internet security 2010 from popping up all the time?

we already have anti-virus elite, and i’m not sure if our pc recognizes it or not. we constantly have other “anti-virus” warnings pop up from others and it’s really really getting annoying lol. any help would be much much appreciated. thank you very much
