How come every time I try to run the antispyware program that Yahoo has a problem and needs to close?

The Starting Program Scan registry and finds adware, there are 3 things about the first 5 seconds and they are: Spyware shorty.gopher bouncer, PurityScan, and virtual. Immediately after it is virtual bouncer I get a message saying small application has encountered a problem and needs to close and it asks me to report the problem to Microsoft. Ive tried to uninstall the toolbar and reinstall it, but it doesn't. what can I do?
