virus found, what to do?

sorry about this but im seriously stupid when it comes to comps
just ran virus scan and it found 3 probs. it says iv got one virus/spyware and 2 adware/pua ‘s . it doesnt give the option to delet them or whatever tho. what are these things?? what does it mean? and how do i get rid of them??
oh also it says they are in quarantine now??
