does it hurt the computer if you have two types of adware and spyware programs?

i have widows defender,but i want to get an anti-virus that has for anti-virus, spyware, adware, and e-mail protection. i want to know if it is good to have two different types of adware programs

No, it doesn’t hurt to have more than one antispyware program. While it may cause problems to run two antivirus or firewall programs, you can run as many antispyware programs. I use a combination of Windows Defender, Ad-aware, Spybot Search & Destroy, and I run Norton Internet Security which also has anti-spyware.
