Why won’t Firefox allow me to click ANYTHING within the program all of a sudden?
I have Firefox version 2.0.0.5 for Mac OS X, the most up to date version, and every once in a while in the middle of a web-browsing session, the program won’t allow me to click on ANYTHING within Firefox. I can’t click links, tabs, etc.
*Keep in mind that I have a Mac so now spyware, adware, etc.
Any help?

Adware by Elmo, Timoteus [Paperback] $78.07 Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Adware, or advertisingsupported software, is any software package which automatically plays, displays, or downloads advertisements to a computer. These advertisements can be in the form of a popup. The object of the Adware is to generate revenue for its author. Adware, by itself, is harmless; however, some adware may come with integrated spyware such as keyloggers and other privacyinvasive software. Advertising functions are integrated into or bundled with the software, which is often designed to note what Internet sites the user visits and to present advertising pertinent to the types of goods or services featured there. Adware is usually seen by the developer as a way to recover development costs, and in some cases it may allow the software to be provided to the user free of charge or at a reduced price. The income derived from presenting advertisements to the user may allow or motivate the developer to continue to develop, maintain and upgrade the software product. Conversely, the advertisements may be seen by the user as interruptions or annoyances, or as distractions from the task at hand. Mac OS $129.05 Mac OS is the trademarked name for a series of graphical user interfacebased operating systems developed by Apple Inc. (formerly Apple Computer, Inc.) for their Macintosh line of computer systems. The Macintosh user experience is credited with popularizing the graphical user interface. The original form of what Apple would later name the Mac OS was the integral and unnamed system software first introduced in 1984 with the original Macintosh, usually referred to simply as the System software. It was a trimmeddown version of the operating system underpinning Apples earlier Lisa product. Apple deliberately downplayed the existence of the operating system in the early years of the Macintosh to help make the machine appear more userfriendly and to distance it from other operating systems such as MSDOS, which was more arcane and technically challenging Author: Miller, Frederic P./ Vandome, Agnes F./ McBrewster, John Binding Type: Paperback Number of Pages: 196 Publication Date: 2009/11/24 Language: English Dimensions: 5.98 x 9.01 x 0.44 inches |
