Adware And Spybot Search And Destroy
must-have programs for a safe computer?
i have:
norton antivirus (i know avast is better, but im still running this)
Ad-Aware (to fight adware)
spybot search and destroy (to fight spyware)
CCleaner (cuz it cleans up space)
are there any other free programs that are must-haves for computer protecton?
Well I don’t agree with your statement that Avast is better than Norton. Norton has a higher detection rate, and is much better at stopping bad web sites. But still either one is very good. Frank stein is right get rid of Spybot, to say it’s weak would be an understatement. SuperAntiSpyware is better. Ccleaner is a very good choice, Adware is nice to have if you are using Internet Explorer. Malwarebytes is nice to have on your computer and to keep it updated. It’s a good removal tool, so if something gets by everything you have it if you need it. If you want a must have get Sandboxie, and get rid of everything but Norton and Ccleaner.
