Error Message while reading a Volume directory

A volume directory in Novell Netware operating system can become unmountable due to incorrect root subdirectory code number, system file corruption, improper system shutdown, metadata structure damage, virus infection etc. Once the volume drive becomes unmountable, the data stored in the volume drive becomes inaccessible. In such situations, the user needs to restore and recover the data from the latest backup. But if the user has not created any backup of the data saved in the affected volume, then he needs to use efficient Netware Data Recovery software to recover and restore the inaccessible data.

For instance, when a user attempts to access the data saved in a Novell Netware volume, he receives the following error message:

“FILESYS- X-306: Error reading in volume directory”
